Lee Da-young, who continues to make one-sided revelations about Kim Yeon-kyung, a senior member of the women’s national volleyball team, has demanded an official apology, insisting that she acknowledge her sexual harassment and abuse of power.

Lee Da-young posted on Instagram on the 5th, “If you acknowledge the repeated sexual harassment on the national team, bullying, workplace violence, and abuse of power at Heungkuk Life Insurance and post an official apology, I will keep the thing you want to hide the most secret forever.” He posted a photo taken with Kim Yeon-kyung.

In the photo, the two people are smiling brightly with their arms around each other. It has been six days since the 30th of last month that Lee Da-young posted a sniping article about Kim Yeon-kyung.

At the time, Lee Da-young shared a case of player human rights violations stipulated by the Korea Volleyball Federation, asking, “Did KOVO confirm the facts with the player regarding sexual harassment and workplace violence?”

Prior to that, on the 23rd of last month, part of the ‘Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response Manual’ produced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor was posted, saying, “Sometimes words are sharper than a sword and leave a long-lasting wound.”

While sharing the manual, Lee Da-young posted a short article titled ‘2018 Athletes’ Village, 2019 World Cup Japan’. Lee Da-young participated in the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games and the 2019 FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) Women’s Volleyball World Cup held in Japan with Kim Yeon-kyung. He participated wearing the Taegeuk symbol.

Lee Da-young, who plays in an overseas league after being expelled from the team in 2021 due to a school violence controversy, surfaced the conflict with Kim Yeon-kyung at a press conference held prior to leaving France on the 5th of last month, and then revealed the content of the KakaoTalk conversation exchanged with Kim Yeon-kyung. The revelations continue every day.

Kim Yeon-kyung’s side issued a statement on the 16th of last month, immediately after a volleyball media outlet reported an interview with Lee Jae-young, saying, “We plan to take strong action against press releases and YouTubers that were recently written and distributed maliciously against Kim Yeon-kyung.” There is no reaction to the revelations.
